EWDD Help for Small Businesses

The City's Workforce & Economic Development Department (EWDD) has assembled dedicated staff to assist Small Businesses who may be struggling during COVID-19. The Department's Business Source Centers and Business Response Unit are there to help small businesses work through the issues at hand and cope with these issues to enable businesses to not only re-open, but to do it in a safe customer friendly manner and to help businesses stay open well into the future.

EWDD's nine Business Source Centers offer technical assistance to guide small business owners considering the various programs offering financial assistance during COVID-19. EWDD also has the Business Response Unit which specializes in helping entrepreneurs navigate through the bureaucracy of the City's business related departments. This concierge-type service provides a one-stop for business owners seeking to obtain contacts and information across City departments on programs and services geared toward the business community.

If your business has been impacted by the pandemic, EWDD can provide information and resources to get businesses back in business. For more information on available assistance, business loans and grants or help with establishing or re-establishing your small business, you can visit the COVID-19 Small Business Resources webpage to learn more. https://www.ewddlacity.com/index.php/local-business/business-covid19
