I’m happy to share that Chatsworth Oaks Park has recently received several exciting upgrades. The park’s parking lot was resurfaced to make it safer and more accessible for visitors, following the earlier replacement of the playground with a new, modern play area.
The updated playground now features a safer play surface and inclusive, diversity-oriented equipment that welcomes children of all abilities. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to ensuring every neighborhood has access to quality open spaces.
As the Councilmember representing this area, I’m proud to see our community benefit from these investments. I want to thank the Department of Recreation and Parks for securing Los Angeles County Measure A grant funding to make these upgrades possible.
I will continue to advocate for projects like this that enhance ourparks, open spaces, and recreation areas, ensuring they remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone in our district.
