Transportation & Mobility Deputy
Lorena serves as the Transportation and Mobility Deputy for the Twelfth Council District. In her role, she is responsible for issues related to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), LA Metro, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), and works in partnership with other transportation agencies including the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Metrolink, and Union Pacific Railroad.
She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended California State University, Northridge, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Lorena had the opportunity to intern with Council District 12 where she learned more about her passion for community engagement and public service. She is now proud to continue to serve the residents of CD12.
