Deputy Chief of Staff
Erich serves as Deputy Chief of Staff. In that role, he oversees day to day operations for the Council Office. He advises the Councilmember on the development of the budget, policy and legislation, and assists the staff in project development and service delivery. He previously served as the Legislative Director for Council District 12 and in that role staffed the Councilmember on the Public Works, Public Safety, Planning & Land Use Management, Neighborhoods & Community Enrichment and Housing & Homelessness Committees.
Prior to his employment with the City of Los Angeles, Erich was honorably discharged after serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps where he served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
