PUBLIC SAFETY DEPUTY
Ben has been a resident of CD12 since 1989. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he obtained a BA in Spanish Literature. He has over 3 decades of experience in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. He has served as affordable housing and health care commissioner for the City of Los Angeles. He’s been married for 32 years and has 2 adult daughters. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and cooking.
